I have had odd periods too. It is frustrating. You sound like me, like to be on exact schedule. No messing around.
One time in my 20s I got my period 3 times in 1 month. Yes, I bled for 3 weeks. Heavy. And, right before hand I was in pain. I swear I had a mass ovulation or something. I went to the doctor and he said "Well, your age and affection." WTH does that mean?
When I started having troubles TTC I thought OMG that was a sign that I had hit menopause.

Let us know what your GP says! I would write down all your C's and how they differed.

I sometimes do that too when I have an odd period. I do not know why it happens.

Oh, I hate AF! I've had mine taper & pick back up before. I have no clue why they do that, I hope your PC has some answers.

Erin - That's what I was thinking - perimenopause or something!
