So I cancelled both RE appointments. Turns out my insurance doesn't even cover office visits, and the initial consult is $260, which we just don't have right now. Maybe later, but then we won't really be able to pay for treatments, so what's the point right? I refuse to go into debt over this. We have worked too hard to get ourselves OUT of debt.
I'm not really sure what my options are right now. Hubs and I have been emailing all day (damn I'm productive at work aren't I?) and basically settled on just continuing to do things the old-fashioned way until we can change insurance in December.
I guess I have lots of time to think about it huh? My brain is not really functioning right now. I guess I will go home.
P.S. If I hear one more person refer to themselves as a "fertile myrtle" I might snap.

(((HUGS))) Kitty, I'm sorry! I know how frustrating it is to be ready to go & held back by finances. (it's not like we can't afford the actual baby, but not smart to go into debt to achieve pg) I think Dec will be here quicker than you think & maybe you'll get a great "surprise" in the meantime.
((((((Kitty))))))
Can you get Clomid or something from your GYN to at least feel like you're trying *something*?
I'm sorry Kitty. That sucks that you had to cancel your appointments. Insurance companies suck! Do they require a certain amount of time or something?
I understand about money and debt! There is never enough money and always too much debt.
I will be right here with you, trying naturally. :-)
((((hugs!!!)))) I am so sorry hunny! I hate insurance companies...why can't they cover infertility?? Or at least some of it. I wish you all the luck with the next few upcoming C's - and who knows maybe you wont need to go through any treatments (which would be a good thing, trust me!) - I have a feeling you will get prego on your own...and if not December isn't too far away. Why are you changing insurance in December?
Hang in there Sweetie!!!
I'm sorry hunny. I guess I'm one of the "lucky" ones to suffer from recurrent PG Loss, so my ins covers my visits.
Hopefully, you'll be able to get some tests done soon
