Snug as a bug

Okay people, enough with the Snu.ggies already!

The Snu.ggie is possibly the most hideous invention ever. And it's not even a truly original idea - it's a glorified housecoat for goodness sake! It's a bathrobe on backwards! But everyone is crazy about the $30 (okay, 19.99 + 7.95 s&h) blanket with sleeves.

And now my beloved Wee.zer is in on the action!! For shame!

Okay, okay, I admit it does look cozy and handy, and I would probably use it if I had one in the house. However, that will never happen unless someone gives us one, because I refuse to spend good money on something so heinously ugly!

LOL@ you and Caitlin.

Snuggies are hideous and pointless. Whoever "invented" them is raking it in and laughing all the way to the bank.

DH wants a snuggie and I have no idea why. I think they are stupid!

But however will you answer the phone in the wintertime, I mean, since regular blankets are so very cumbersome....

My favorite is the family wearing their snuggies to their kids' ball game. Bet that kid doesn't get picked on in school.....

I agree - wasn't there a 1980's version of the snuggie that went together with snaps?? I hoped that it died with the advent of the nineties, but apparently they've recussitated it...

There's an award waiting for you on my blog...

We make fun of how some of these ideas must come about-

(everyone's drunk one night)
Random guy takes his bathrobe & puts it on backwards. All the others in the room gasp at the sheer genious of it. "OMG, that could totally work!" says his wife "you look so snug in that. And that way... you don't even need the sash!"

"Will people buy it if they already own a blanket though?" another friend chimes in.

The guy's answer-"I don't know, but let's write this down & call Billy Mays when we sober up!"

Oh & my DH thinks you're cool now because I told him you like Metalocalypse. Lol!
